Have you done some improv and are itching to do more?!  Always wanted to try but weren't sure how to?  Are you a natural performer or someone who wants to come out of their shell?  Improv has something for absolutely everyone.  BATS Improv is offering a workshop for the teens in January and February 2012  In this class, teens will work together, learning improv principles and growing into an ensemble as they have fun, make friends and play on stage.

The classes will be held at the Bayfront Theater in Fort Mason Center.  This is an after school workshop and open to high school students. 

By playing theatre games and learning to take risks in a safe environment, improv students develop the ability to tell stories collaboratively and work in the moment while having a great time.

Improvisation is an excellent tool for improving verbal expression, enhancing listening skills, building body awareness, and boosting self-confidence.

All classes are held in a professional performing space--the 200-seat Bayfront Theater.

BATS' teen classes are very popular and often sell out; we strongly encourage you to register early!

BATS Improv Class Refund Policy:

Your class tuition includes a 20% non-refundable deposit.

If you have registered for a class and decide you want to drop that class AT LEAST 14 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS SESSION, you may choose to receive a refund for the amount of the class minus your non-refundable deposit OR you may choose to reapply your payment IN FULL to another BATS class.

Classes dropped 4-13 days before the start of the class are not eligible for the re-application of full payment to another class. You may either reapply your payment (minus the applicable deposit) or receive a partial refund. This option is not available for those enrolled in summer intensives or youth/teen camps.

Regular classes/workshops dropped within 72 hours of the first class session, or summer intensives and youth/teen camps dropped within two weeks of the first session, are not eligible for either re-application or any refund.
